Limits and security

  • Requests per key

Value: 120 per minute, then 429

  • Send calls per key

Value: 20 per minute and 500 per day, then 429

  • Recipients per tag broadcast call

    Value: 500

  • Page size on list tools

Value: 20 by default, up to 100

  • Who can create keys

Value: The owner, for anyone. An admin, for themselves and members. Members can't

  • Who a key acts as

Value: The person it was given to, with their role. It can never do more than they can in SheetWA

  • Workspace scope

Value: A key only ever sees the workspace it was created in

  • Key access

Value: All access by default. Under Advanced access whoever gives the key picks View and Change per area: contacts, templates, broadcasts, inbox, single messages, auto-replies and notes

  • Keys are stored encrypted. Only the person a key was given to, the owner, or an admin managing it can copy it again.
  • If the person a key belongs to leaves the workspace, the key stops working.
  • Messages sent through MCP are recorded as sent by an agent, so you can tell them apart from your team's.
  • Every change or send made through MCP is logged with the key that made it.
  • An assistant cannot opt a contact back in. Only a person can, from the dashboard.

Customers' messages are text the assistant reads, and a message can try to tell it what to do. Give a key View access only when the assistant just needs to look things up, and keep your AI app asking for your approval before every send.
