A reminder gets paid faster when the customer can act on it without asking a single question.
Stay polite at every stage and send reminders between 8 am and 7 pm. Use your business's own pay link or UPI ID, never a personal account.
Put one customer per row in a Google Sheet, with a column named after every placeholder: name, amount, invoice number, due date, payment link.
Open SheetWA, paste the template, and each placeholder fills from the sheet column with the same name. Filter to unpaid rows so only those customers get it.
Attach the invoice PDF, preview a few rows, and send. Delivery and read status come back to the sheet, so you know who saw it.

Tell borrowers their loan is sanctioned, with the amount, tenure, rate and next step.
Remind borrowers of the EMI amount, due date and how to pay, before and after it falls due.
Tell borrowers their EMI debit failed, the bounce charge, the retry date and how to pay.
Offer personal loans with the amount, rate and one clear next step, plus an opt-out.
Confirm a payment with the amount, date, mode and reference, plus the receipt.
Remind cardholders of the total due, minimum due and due date, and confirm payments.
Confirm a cash, cheque, UPI or salary credit with the amount, account and balance.
Greet the customer by name, state the amount and the invoice number, give the due date, and add a payment link or UPI ID. End with a thank you and a line for anyone who has already paid. Keep it to three or four short sentences so it reads well on a phone.
Keep it under 160 characters so it goes as one SMS. Put your business name first, then the amount, the due date and a short payment link. End with a short line asking them to ignore it if already paid. The SMS versions above follow this pattern and fit in one message each.
Most customers read Hinglish, which is Hindi written in English letters, more easily than Devanagari on a phone. Start with Namaste {{Name}} ji, state the amount in Rs. and the date, and end with Dhanyavaad. Example: Namaste {{Name}} ji, aapka Rs. {{Amount}} ka payment {{Due Date}} ko due hai.
Send the first one three to five days before the due date, another on the day, and a follow-up one to three days after it is missed. Space overdue reminders about a week apart, and send a final notice only when you are ready to act on it.
Yes, as long as the customer gave you their number for this business and you send from your business number. WhatsApp reminders are read much faster than email. Keep them polite, factual and limited to a few per invoice, and stop once the payment arrives.
Move from friendly to firm in steps. Restate the amount and the invoice, give a clear new date, and say what happens next, such as a late fee or a pause in work. Offer a call or a payment plan. A final notice with a fixed date usually gets a reply.
Yes. List customers in a sheet with name, amount, due date and payment link, paste a template into SheetWA, and send one personalised reminder per row from your own WhatsApp number. Filter the sheet to overdue rows to send the firmer versions only to those who have not paid.
